Thursday May 22, 2014 - Renowned city lawyer, Ahmednasir Abdullahi, has come to the defence of embattled Devolution Cabinet Secretary, Anne Waiguru, asking God to save her from the wrath of greedy MPs.
On his twitter account on Wednesday, Ahmednasir, who is one of the most respected lawyers in the country, said Waiguru is a hardworking woman who has taken devolution to new heights for the last one year she has been in office. He described her as one of the most hardworking and ambitious Cabinet Secretaries in the Jubilee Government.
This is what Ahmednasir posted on his twitter account.
“Isn't Ann Waiguru a hard working decent cabinet secretary? Who will save Kenya from thieving miscreants called mpigs? God/ Allah!”
Waiguru is currently swimming in muddy waters after a group of TNA and URP MPs ganged up together accusing her of incompetence, arrogance and tribalism in hiring civil servants.
They have already tabled a motion in Parliament to oust her.
